The Sunday Ride Classic at the Paul Ricard circuit will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Ducati 916 on May 18 and 19 for its 15th edition. Several events, including a parade and an exhibition, will be dedicated to the iconic Italian sports car.
A must-attend event for Ducati enthusiasts: the Sunday Ride Classic (or SRC for those in the know) will celebrate a very special anniversary next month at the Paul Ricard circuit. The event dedicated to motorcycles of all horizons and generations will highlight, among other things, the 30th anniversary of the Ducati 916 sports car in 2024.
The festivities will amaze the general public with a parade on the track and an exhibition. A tourist ride, a special 916 family parking lot, an anniversary T-shirt, a concert and an aperitif dinner on Saturday evening are also offered to visitors who wish to go further to pay tribute to the model. To do this, a form published online by the French Motorcycle Federation on the engage-sports website offers packs ranging from 35 to 45 euros including the entrance ticket to the SRC. Registrations will close on May 7th at 11:59pm.
The Sunday Ride Classic, which will mark its 15th edition on May 18 and 19, will of course offer visitors, as every year, numerous stands in an exhibitors' village, catering areas, SBK and Grand Prix tracks, a historic motorcycle endurance race, a salon with more than 100 motorcycles, test rides, open boxes and paddocks as well as signing sessions with riders. A "Tribute to TOTO" concert will also punctuate the event alongside the sounds of engines that have marked history.
