Triumph Motorcycles Japan has unveiled the exclusive Trident Triple Tribute Special Edition, set to be available for a limited time this season only. Inspired by the iconic bike of "Slippery Sam," a five-time winner of the Isle of Man TT race, this special color scheme pays homage to a legend. Priced at approximately 6558 USD (tax included), deliveries will commence sequentially from April onwards.


Reviving a 1970s Legend !

The Trident Triple Tribute is a special edition derived from the Trident 660.
Name
d after its distinctive three-cylinder engine, the Trident is a roadster renowned for its abundant torque across all RPM ranges. While Triumph's heritage models featuring vertical twin engines, like the Bonneville, hold appeal, the three-cylinder engine models, steeped in a rich racing history, also captivate enthusiasts. Priced at less than 1 million yen, the Trident 660 not only embodies Triumph's legacy but also garners significant interest from entry-level riders.

The history of the Trident dates back to 1968 when Triumph introduced its first three-cylinder model in racing, the Trident T150, which quickly became synonymous with high-performance engines due to its impressive track record. 

In 1970, Triumph unveiled the three-cylinder 750cc Trident "Slippery Sam," an iconic machine that secured victory at the Isle of Man TT five consecutive times, solidifying its status as a legendary bike.


The Trident Triple Tribute pays homage to this legendary machine with its exterior adorned in white, blue, and red graphics, featuring the iconic "67" number proudly displayed on the tank. 

Equipped with Triumph ShiftAssist (quick-shifter), flyscreen, and belly pan (undercowl), this special edition seamlessly blends Triumph's rich history with modern preferences.
