Ducati Multistrada V2 and V2 S 2025: The Italian Trail Reinvented

For 2025, Ducati has introduced its revamped Multistrada V2 and V2 S models, featuring a new lightweight design and enhanced performance. These motorcycles are powered by the brand's latest V2 engine, offering an exciting upgrade for adventure enthusiasts.

A New Heartbeat for the Multistrada V2

The Multistrada V2 2025 is equipped with a 90° V-twin engine boasting 890cc, delivering 115 hp at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Notably, 70% of the torque is available as early as 3,500 rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring shortened first and second gears, complemented by the standard Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system. Additionally, the Multistrada V2 will be available in an A2-compliant version for newer riders.

Enhanced Design and Ergonomics

Compared to its predecessor, the Multistrada V2 2025 sheds significant weight, with a dry weight of 199 kg (202 kg for the V2 S). The reduction comes from a lighter engine, a new monocoque aluminum frame, a trellis rear subframe, and an aluminum swingarm.

Visually, the bike flaunts a sharper, more aerodynamic design, with improved rider protection thanks to a redesigned windscreen and integrated LED lighting. The lateral air intakes redirect airflow to the rider’s legs for added comfort.

The redesigned seat, adjustable between 830 mm and 850 mm, provides greater comfort. The V2 S version offers semi-active DSS suspension, which can lower the seat height to 790 mm. For additional customization, optional seats ranging from 810 mm to 870 mm are available for the standard model.

Top-Tier Features

The Multistrada V2 2025 excels in technology and safety, equipped with five riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and Wet), cornering ABS, traction control (DTC), wheelie control (DWC), engine braking control (EBC), and a cruise control system. The 5-inch TFT display includes a USB port for convenience.

The braking system is handled by Brembo, with dual 320 mm front discs and a single 265 mm rear disc. Pirelli Scorpion Trail tires ensure optimal grip on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.

Pricing and Availability

The Ducati Multistrada V2 2025 will be available starting January 2025, with the base model priced at €16,490. The more advanced V2 S will retail for €19,190, while a "Travel" version, featuring heated grips, a central stand, and side cases, will be available for €20,490.

With its innovative design, lightweight frame, and advanced features, the Ducati Multistrada V2 2025 is set to redefine the adventure bike category, offering a thrilling ride for enthusiasts across the globe.
